Occupied Stolen Vehicle
533 S. Stewart St.
Officers followed the GPS signal of a stolen vehicle and found it at 533 S. Stewart. Another stolen vehicle was at the same location. Justin Skelton, 27 and Emele Tuaolo, 25 were taken into custody and booked into jail for various charges.
500 S. Emery St.
Officers observed a red Dodge Durango leaving the area. Officers recognized the vehicle as stolen and involved in drive by shooting case 20-30741. Before a felony stop could be coordinated, the driver accelerated to flee from officers. A pursuit was initiated at 500 S Emery and ended at 400 W South Temple after officers lost visual of the suspect vehicle due to heavy traffic. Officers were able to visually identify the driver during the pursuit.
76 W. 2100 S.
A male forced entry into the Auto Forza Motors dealership. The owner saw the male inside the business via a live security camera feed. Officers arrived on scene and observed the suspect walking through the dealership lot. Upon seeing officers, the suspect immediately fled. Officers chased him and took him into custody at 136 W. Westwood Ave. The suspect was found in the possession of several items from the dealership. Hercule Brown, 22, was booked into jail for Burglary, fleeing, and possession of Burglary tools.
59 E Gilbridge Ave.
Salt Lake City Narcotics and SWAT served a search warrant at this location. Patrick Rinehart, 26, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute narcotics, possession of a handgun by restricted(x2), and possession of drug paraphernalia. The items seized were 7.4 grams Cocaine, 54 Oxycodone pills, 54 Amphetamine pills, 7.4 grams MDMA, 34 grams Marijuana, 26 THC Vape Cartridges, 2 handguns, cash, and multiple packaging materials.
1405 W. 500 S.
A white colored vehicle was driving east on 500 S. when shots were fired from within the vehicle. Six empty casings were found. No property damaged and no victims were located.
