A white male adult entered the above location and asked one of the clerks if they would watch his backpack. The clerk told him no. The male set the backpack down against a wall and then exited the building. The Hazardous Device Unit responded. Building evacuated. Backpack was deemed safe.
800 S. Cheyenne St.
Officers received a report of a stolen white Land Rover. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle fled. It was later reported that the vehicle had hit a West Valley Police vehicle as it fled from them. The vehicle has not been located at this time. The vehicle is a white, 2012 Land Rover 4, with a missing rear bumper and a Utah plate M531H.
Aggravated Robbery / Vandalism

A male broke a window of the Key Bank and GNC store using rocks, he then entered the Target store holding a large rock, when encountered by Target security staff, he told them to give him the money. He then stated they needed to call police and tell them this is an armed robbery. Police Officers arrived and took the male into custody without incident. Colin Hoover, 59, was booked for aggravated robbery and vandalism.
