Reckless Driving, Fleeing, Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer

Officers were working at Walmart and went outside to investigate a female creating a disturbance in the parking lot. The female ignored commands and fled from the officers in her vehicle. As officers gave chase on foot, she drove recklessly for several minutes through the busy Walmart and Lowe’s parking lots, jumping a curb and nearly hitting an officer in the process. Officers were eventually able to remove her from the vehicle and put the car in park. Katherine Flesch, 35, was booked into jail for fleeing in a vehicle, reckless driving, aggravated assault on a police officer, and driving without a license.

Officers were in the area and viewed a male riding a bicycle without a headlight. They conducted a traffic stop and found the male had 2 felony warrants. The male attempted to flee, and Taser was used to take the male into custody. A loaded handgun was in man’s pocket. Jeremy Gooch, 29, was booked for possession of a handgun by a restricted person, possession of a controlled substance, no headlight on a bicycle and warrants.
