Aggravated Robbery/Shots Fired
2225 S. 500 E.
A juvenile victim was approached by a group of other juvenile males in the alleyway just north-east of the above address. One male pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his shoes. The victim complied and the group of males fled on foot with the shoes. The suspects are described as; at least 2 male black juveniles wearing dark clothing, and 1 male Polynesian juvenile with bleached hair in a bun wearing a red and white hoodie. The juvenile called his parents and they located the suspects in the area. When confronted, one suspect dropped the stolen shoes and started walking east. The parents continued to follow and the male (described as a younger black male wearing a black top and black bottom) the male pulled out a gun and fired one round in the direction of the parents before running away. A shell casing was recovered at the scene.

A call came in reporting a possible assault. Responding officers found a male bleeding from his cheek. The male reported that he had recently been shot in the face while he was walking in the area. The wound was small and likely inflicted by a small caliber weapon. The victim was uncooperative and refused to provide any additional information. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries.
Stolen Boat Arrest

Complainant called police after seeing a suspicious van hook up to a neighbor’s boat and leave with it. The complainant followed and alerted police of their whereabouts. A stop was conducted on the van. Brad Dowse, 45, was transported to jail for possession of the stolen boat and warrants. Steven Hart, 33, was transported to jail for warrants. Victim responded and took possession of his boat.
