The victim and suspect were dropped off near this address by an unknown party. Shortly after the suspect struck the victim with a blunt object and took his backpack before fleeing on foot. While running away the suspect dropped the backpack. The victim sustained minor injuries. The suspect is described as a white male, 25-35 years old, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white sweatshirt, white t-shirt, blue pants and gray shoes.
Occupied Stolen Vehicle
1087 S. Winding River Cv.
An officer observed a parked suspicious vehicle and discovered it was stolen. The driver immediately exited the vehicle and confronted the officer. The officer attempted to deploy a Taser but was unsuccessful. The driver attempted to flee on foot but was quickly caught by the officer. The driver resisted but was eventually taken into custody. Jared Kendall, 50, was taken to jail for felony theft, fleeing on foot, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.
