Weapon Possession by a Restricted Person
1388 S. Major St.

An officer was patrolling the area and came across Vilaketi Bloomfield, 23, going through a vehicle. When contacted Officer Meyer observed Vilaketi grabbing at his waist and Vilaketi announced that he had a concealed pistol. Multiple officers responded to assist and Vilaketi was arrested without further incident. Vilaketi was booked for possession of a weapon by restricted person, vehicle burglary and possession of a controlled substance.

Fight/Search Warrant
1425 W. 1300 S.

An ongoing neighbor dispute has been occurring at the listed address. A verbal argument broke out and during the argument a male from one apartment brandished a firearm and threatened a neighbor. Officers responded and detained three individuals. A warrant was obtained, and a firearm was recovered from inside the residence. Frank Owens, 33, was booked for aggravated assault.
