1095 S. 700 E.
Officers initiated a traffic stop at this address. While speaking with the occupants an odor of marijuana was detected. During the investigation two handguns, cash and narcotics were located. Joe Vigil, 18, was booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a restricted person. The other occupant was a juvenile and was booked into detention.
1000 S. 700 E.
Dispatch received several reports of a male running into traffic on 700 E. When officers arrived, the male ran into the pond at Liberty Park. Officers attempted to get the male to walk out of the pond, but he refused. Officers entered the pond and took the male into custody. He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
