Aggravated Robbery
203 E. Hampton Ave.

The victim was working at the Corner Mart when the suspect entered the business with handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect obtained money and was seen heading on Harvard Avenue on foot.  A photo of the suspect was distributed through the department, officers recognized the suspect as Daniel Lopez, 38. He was tracked down to his residence where he was taken into custody. He was taken to jail and booked in on robbery charges as well as several outstanding warrants.

Shots Fired
2000 W. Indiana Ave.
20-90397 and 20-90414

Officers in the area heard several shots coming from an area south of their location. Several calls for shots fired were received from the area of Glendale Circle. While officers were checking the area, several more shots were heard from the area of west Indiana Ave. No casings were found in the area of Glendale Circle. Officers did locate casings in the roadway at 2000 W. Indiana Ave. More casings were found in the roadway at 2845 W. Indiana Ave. There was no reported damage or injuries from the shootings.
