Officers were dispatched on a report of shots fired. Officers located what looked to a be a shooting scene at the above address. Blood was located at the scene as well as shell casings. There were no reports of shooting victims at any of the local hospitals at this time.
387 W. 1830 S.
Alta Hughes, 32, entered the Dollar Tree and selected some items. When she attempted to leave without paying, she was confronted by an employee. Hughes produced a knife and threatened the employee. Hughes was located shortly thereafter and taken into custody. She was booked into jail for robbery.
Stolen, Recovered Vehicle
176 N. Redwood Rd.
Officers took a report of a stolen vehicle and sent out an attempt to locate on the vehicle. Another officer spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Roberto Marquez, 32, was driving the vehicle. He was booked into jail for auto theft.
