A male entered the Maverik and took an item without paying. The manager confronted the suspect, who in threatened to kill her. Officers located the suspect nearby and recovered the item he took. Eric Self, 32, was booked into jail for robbery.
1130 W. 300 N.
Officers were investigating an assault at this address. A male saw the officers and immediately fled from them as he believed they were looking for him. Officers gave chase and apprehended the male a short distance away. Armando Garcia, 22, was booked into jail for warrants and fleeing. He was not related to the initial assault call in any way.
