Possible Human Remains
1550 N. Warm Springs Rd.
Officers responded to a report of a found bone in the area. The bone was possibly human. Investigation is ongoing.
Occupied Stolen Vehicle
114 W. 1300 S.
Salt Lake City Fire Personnel recognized a stolen motorcycle from a Facebook post. They attempted to take the suspect into custody and he immediately became combative and assaulted at least one fire department employee. Officers arrived and took the subject into custody without incident. The suspect claimed to have swallowed narcotics and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Charges will be screened.
Officer-Involved Critical Incident
1260 W. 500 S.
Officers responded to a report of threats and a possible psychological issue at this address. Shortly after officers arrived a foot pursuit occurred. One officer discharged his firearm and struck the individual they were chasing. Officers immediately began providing first aid until EMS personnel arrived and he was transported to a local hospital. The officer-involved critical incident protocol was initiated with team 3 investigating.
