1320 E. 200 South
A male black adult, approximately 5’5”, wearing a white mask, light-blue hooded-jacket with a white stripe down the sleeves, grey pants and white shoes entered the University Pharmacy. He jumped over the counter, stated “I’m not going to hurt you” and then stole approximately four bottles of prescriptions. The suspect then left on foot northbound.
Traffic Stop, Firearm Seized
500 S. Concord St.
An officer made a traffic stop on at the above location on a vehicle being driven by a 14-year-old juvenile. During the stop, the officer located a loaded handgun, ammunition and marijuana.
1357 W. Goodwin Ave.
Dispatch received several calls of shots fired in the area listed above. Officers located a spent shell casing in the street and a bullet hole in the window of a house in the area. Construction workers witnessed a red four-door sedan travel northbound on Colorado from Goodwin Ave after the shots being fired.
1055 W. North Temple St.
Officers were in the above area and heard what sounded like several gunshots. Several officers responded to the area and discovered fourteen shell casings in the parking lot of the 801 Event Center. No victims were located, and there is minimal suspect information. Gang detectives responded to the scene and are handling the investigation.
