Officer-involved TA, DUI
400 S. 200 W.
An officer was driving East on 400 S. going through the intersection at 200 W. when they were struck by a vehicle that ran the red light. The driver of the other vehicle Cory Nielsen, 32, was taken to jail for DUI and being an alcohol restricted driver.
1164 W. Girard Ave
Officers were dispatched on a stabbing just occurred. Officers found the victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds to his head, hand, and back. The victim indicated that this was a result of a agreement dealing with unpaid rent. The victim was taken to a local hospital, treated and released.
