Weapon & Narcotics Possession

Officers were conducting surveillance in the area when they observed a male selling marijuana. Officers attempted to take him into custody, but he fled on foot but was quickly apprehended. Officers located cocaine, marijuana, cash and a handgun on his person. Sean Horrall, 22, was booked into jail for possession of narcotics and possession of a firearm by a restricted person.

Officers had a vehicle flee from them during an attempted traffic stop. Another officer was in the area and found the vehicle parked with a male walking away from it. The vehicle had been reported stolen. Sika Ngahe, 30, was taken into custody and booked into jail for failure to stop at command of a law enforcement officer and theft.

Officers responded on a call about 2 stolen vehicles and a stolen trailer all within an hour. While investigating an officer observed one of the vehicles drive past. Other officers were able to recover the vehicles. A short time later officers responded to an unrelated call. During the course of that call they discovered a male was in possession of the keys to one of the stolen vehicles as well as a stolen firearm. Andy Avila-Russo, 21, was booked into jail for numerous charges including theft.

Aggravated Assault

Witnesses called to report a male was being assaulted. Officers located the victim with serious injuries, and he was transported to a hospital. The victim wasn’t cooperative with officers. The suspect had fled the scene, he was described as a male Black adult, late 20’s to early 30’s with short hair. Last seen wearing a black shirt and white shorts.

Officers responded on a report of a shooting at Little America. The victim had returned to his room where he was shot by his current girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend fled after firing the shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shots Fired

Officers responded to a report of shots fired and found shell casings in the street. An unoccupied vehicle was struck several times. No injuries were reported, no suspect information.
