Officer Involved Traffic Accident
50 S. Redwood Rd.
Officers had stopped to assist a disabled vehicle in traffic. They were parked behind the vehicle with their emergency lights activated when they were rear ended by a Cadillac. Both the Cadillac and police vehicle suffered extensive damage. The Utah Highway Patrol responded to handle the investigation and processed the driver for DUI. Both officers sustained minor injuries.

An officer was waved down by a male who was not wearing a shirt. The male told the officer three individuals had attempted to take his phone while assaulting him and threatening him with a gun. The officer located the suspects walking away from the victim and took them into custody. All three suspects were juveniles and were booked into detention for robbery.
