Officers were looking for an individual wanted for kidnapping. They located the suspect vehicle and contacted the occupants. The suspect was not in the vehicle, however Patsy Lau, 40, and Akanesi Tongia, 25, were both arrested for outstanding warrants.
118 N. 1320 W.
Two individuals who reside at this address had not been seen in some time. An acquaintance went to the residence to check on them and found both individuals, and a cat, deceased. No immediate cause of death could be determined, the investigation is ongoing.
534 S. West Temple St.
Officers obtained information the suspect from the kidnapping they were attempting to find earlier in the shift was at this location. Irene McIntosh, 32, was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail for her warrant.
1633 W. 1000 N.
Officers responded on reports of shots fired. Damage to the residence was found along with shell casings. No injuries were reported, no suspect information was available.
