An officer saw a suspicious vehicle and found the vehicle had been reported stolen. Christin Jennings, 42, was booked into jail for felony theft and outstanding warrants.

Retail Theft/Resisting
350 W. Hope Ave.

Officers were attempting to handcuff a subject for theft when he began to fight with officers. During the fight the male tried to take an officer’s Taser. The second officer deployed their taser which ended the fight. No one was injured. William Naseyouma, 24, was booked into jail for attempted disarming of a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, false information to a peace officer, resisting arrest and retail theft.

Bruce Baird was found in Ogden and returned to his care facility. The Silver Alert was cancelled.

 

8:35 p.m.
Auto Ped Hit and Run
1120 W. 1700 S. Jordan River Parkway

The victim was crossing 1700 S when a westbound vehicle struck him. The vehicle did not stop and was last seen westbound on 1700 South. The victim was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. The vehicle was possibly a late 2000’s white Nissan Altima.

Stabbing

A victim arrived at a hospital with stab wounds. Officers responded and learned the incident had occurred approximately an hour prior to police being notified. The investigation led officers to believe the incident may have occurred during a fight with an unknown suspect at the above address. The victim’s injuries are not life threatening.
