2:39 a.m. Shooting
1860 W. Independence Ave.
Officers responded to an address in the area and found a victim, who was shot in the leg. He stated he went to his room to ask a couple of people to leave when one shot him in the leg. The victim was unable to give a good description of the two individuals. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
