Vehicle Theft
800 N. Cornell

An officer ran the plate of a suspicious vehicle and discovered it was stolen. The driver of the stolen vehicle pulled into a park, turned around, saw the officer and began to drive towards the officer. Officers completed a felony stop on the vehicle and were able to detain suspect, who was identified as Shane Magele, 35. He was transported to jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Missing Endangered Adult

An elderly woman with advanced dementia, went missing from a hotel at the above address. A short time later she was found, safe.

Vehicle Theft
850 S. 400 W.
21-1170

An officer ran the license plate of an occupied vehicle that came back stolen. Officers were able to detain the driver, Devion Keven, 21, who was then transported to jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.

12:23 p.m.
Stabbing
422 W. 900 S.
21-1207

Officers responded and made contact with a male victim who stated he and two males were arguing over money when he was stabbed, once in each hip. The victim did not contact police until his wounds bled enough to cause him discomfort. No suspect description. Victim was transported to a local hospital.

8:18 p.m.
Shots Fired
746 N. Irving St.
21-1396

Multiple people heard 5-8 gunshots in the area. Officers located shell casings on Irving Street near the parking lot entrance to the apartment complex. No injuries or property damage reported.
