680 E. 400 S.
A mother had left her vehicle running with her child inside as she went in to pay for gas at a gas station. A female suspect got into the car and drove off. Officers swarmed the area and located the vehicle a few blocks away with the child safely inside. The suspect has not been located.
490 N. Redwood Rd.
The victim was getting out of his car at the convenience store when a male suspect approached him, indicated he had a weapon and ordered him out of the vehicle. The suspect got into the vehicle and fled the scene.
1500 E. Princeton Ave.
Officers responded on a vehicle burglary in progress. As they arrived in the area two suspects were seen fleeing the area on foot. Containment was set up in the area. A tracking K-9 was used, and the two suspects were located and detained without incident. Keli Iyamuremye, 19, was arrested and booked into jail for vehicle burglary. The second suspect was a juvenile and released to his parents.
