Officers responded to a report of a fight with a weapon. A male victim observed a female being assaulted by a male suspect. The male victim intervened on her behalf and the suspect brandished a knife, swinging it at the male victim grazing his arm. The suspect then fled on foot and was located by officers a short distance away. The two victims had minor injuries and were not transported to the hospital. The suspect was identified as Reginald Frierson, 52, and was booked into jail for assault, and parole violation.
