2355 E. 1300 S.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male who arrived in a vehicle. A male suspect, who was inside the house, fled on foot out the back door when the officers arrived. He was pursued by officers and ran back to the driveway of the residence. He got into the vehicle and crashed into a patrol vehicle while he fled the scene. The suspect drove away and abandoned the vehicle. The vehicle was located by police and processed. The vehicle had been previously listed as stolen. Investigation ongoing.
609 S. 200 W.
A male suspect stabbed a male victim while trying to steal his bike. A witness tried to intervene and the suspect assaulted him also and stole his phone. The suspect, Messiah Bottoms, 47, was apprehended by police and booked into jail for aggravated assault, robbery and violation of parole or probation. The victim who was stabbed was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
1269 E. 2100 S.
A male entered the store and passed a note to the pharmacist, demanding prescription drugs. The pharmacist told the suspect he didn’t have access to those and handed the note back. The suspect left on foot and was not located.
1245 S. 900 W.
Officers observed an occupied vehicle that was listed as stolen. They contacted the occupants of the vehicle and arrested Bobby Cowell, 40, and booked him into jail for his warrants.
342 S. State St.
A male suspect was escorted out of the business by three employees. The suspect pulled out a firearm and threatened the employees with it. The suspect, Asher Bendixen, 21, was located and booked into jail for aggravated assault, intoxication, possession of a dangerous weapon while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance and warrants.
2100 S. West Temple
A male suspect stole items from the store. When the owner tried to stop him, the suspect pulled out a gun and threatened the owner with it. The suspect was not located. Investigation ongoing.
