The victim and the suspect were arguing in the parking lot after a concert. The victim attempted to run away from the suspect who chased him in his vehicle through the parking lot. The suspect ran over the victim and, stopping the vehicle on top of him. Witnesses detained the suspect and moved the vehicle off the victim. An unknown individual discharged one round from a firearm before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Guadalupe De La Cruz Perez, 24, was booked into jail for felony DUI, driving on a denied license and driving while alcohol restricted.
