Officers were on an unrelated call when a male frantically approached them saying his friend was in his car and not breathing. Officers removed the female from the vehicle and found she was not breathing and did not have a pulse. Officers immediately began CPR and administered naloxone. Officers continued administering life saving measures until SLC Fire personnel took over. Medical personnel were able to detect a pulse and the female was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

A victim reported her neighbor, Shawn Park, 35, threatened her with a gun while they were both outside. Park fled when officers attempted to contact him, however he was found a short time later. Park was booked into jail for failure to stop and a warrant. The investigation of the threats is ongoing.
