1785 W. Sequoia Vista Circle
Management of a storage company located a live hand grenade in one of the units. The Hazardous Device Unit responded and rendered the item safe.
220 South Rio Grande Street
A woman gave birth to a child and discarded the body near a camp on Rio Grande Street. Officers were notified and located the mother in the area. Homicide detectives were called out and the investigation is on-going.
1689 S. 1300 E.
Officers responded to a burglary call at a gas station. It was determined that the suspect entered through the roof and from store video a description of the suspect was obtained. Shortly thereafter a report came in of a juvenile breaking back into a house that he had run away from. The description of the juvenile match that of the burglary suspect. Officer responded and located the juvenile. The juvenile was arrested for the burglary and taken to juvenile detention.
