8:04 a.m. Occupied Stolen Vehicle 900 S. 500 W.
A victim who had his vehicle stolen tracked it to this location using a locator app. He called for police assistance but confronted the suspect prior to their arrival. When officers arrived they arrested Brandon Rautanen, 22, and booked him into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle and his warrants.
8:33 a.m. Burglary 932 S. Main St.
A male tried to break a window at the business so he could steal liquor. Ricky Lafaele, 34, was apprehended by officers on scene and booked into jail for burglary, possession of drugs, possession of paraphernalia and criminal mischief.
