10:49 a.m. Found Human Remains
200 S. 900 W.
Construction workers located human remains while removing the foundation from the existing building. State Anthropologist and Homicide detectives responded to the scene. State Anthropologist has assessed the bones to be between 800 and 2500 years old.
6:44 p.m. Possession of a Firearm
1627 W. 3500 S.
An officer was notified that a person on parole was attempting to sell a firearm online. Officers stopped the suspect and found a rifle in his possession. Jaylen Irwin, 23, was booked into jail for possession of a firearm by a restricted person.
