Officers responded to a call of a car prowl in progress, shortly thereafter another call came in with a description of the same male burglarizing a house. Officers located the suspect Johny Clark, 34. Clark was identified as a burglar in another case as well. Clark was taken to jail for the two burglaries, possession of burglary tools, drugs and paraphernalia.

Ediee Osequera, 28, was attending a party in the area when his brother got into a fight with a fellow attendee. Osequera produced a handgun and fired it in the air to break up the fight. A security guard saw what happened and detained Osequera, the security guard stated that Osequera pointed the gun at him. Oswequera was booked into jail for aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm in the city and producing a firearm during a quarrel.

Officers responded to a local hospital on a report of a stabbing. The victim stated that he was at his girlfriend’s apartment when he got into an argument with a neighbor, the neighbor then stabbed the victim. The victim was taken by a friend to the hospital. The suspect has been identified but not located at this time. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
