The victim called to report he was walking in the neighborhood when three Black males wearing masks approached him from across the street. One of the males had a rifle and the rest had handguns. They demanded money but the victim didn’t comply. The victim was knocked to the ground and pistol whipped. The suspects went through his pockets taking money and his wallet. The suspects fled in a white vehicle.
Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent To Distribute

The victim recently had tools stolen. The victim contacted a person on-line that was selling items matching the description of what was stolen from the victim. The victim met with the person at a storage unit and determined that the tools were in fact his. He left under the understanding he was going to get cash but called for police. Officers arrived and arrested Tell Hammerstrom, 41. A warrant was issued for the storage unit, several stolen items were recovered as well as a large quantity of methamphetamine. Hammerstrom went to jail for possession of stolen property and possession with intent to distribute.
