Shooting
1600 S. Wallace Road

Officers responded to a shooting at the Maverick. Upon further investigation it was determined that the victim had been transported to this location from the original scene at 1600 S. Wallace Road. Officers at that scene located another victim at that location. Both victims had encountered a male suspect and had some type of confrontation with that suspect. The suspect produced a gun and shot both victims. The suspect then fled the area by flagging down a vehicle and claiming he was the victim of a jumping. The suspect was dropped off at an apartment building near the area. Officers have suspect information that they are following up on. The two victims are expected to survive.

Officers were at Club Echo on a different call for service when they heard shots fired south of their location. When officers arrived at the listed location, they found England Pauulu, 22, on the ground with a gunshot wounds. Medical arrived and Pauula was declared deceased at the scene. Pauula was seen fighting with three Hispanic males when one pulled a gun and shot him. A juvenile male was arrested and booked into Detention on a charge of murder.
