SLCPD Investigating Voyeurism Involving a Child

SALT LAKE CITY — Detectives assigned to the Salt Lake City Police Department Special Victims Squad are attempting to identify a person of interest wanted for questioning in a child voyeurism case.

This investigation started at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Sunday December 19, 2021, in the area of 700 North 900 West when patrol officers responded to reports of a suspicious circumstance involving a gun.

Officers responded and determined there was no gun crime. However, officers learned through their investigation, an unknown male was seen looking through the window of an apartment while a child was undressing.

After being confronted by a community member, the unknown man ran from the scene.

The suspect in this case is described as a male, in his early 20s, approximately 5’ 8’’ tall and weighing about 130 pounds.
