Investigations Bureau
The Investigations Bureau is under the direction of Assistant Chief Terry Fritz. The Investigative Bureau consists of the Detective Division and Special Operations Division, both of which support and follow-up felony and misdemeanor crimes reported in the field operations. Both Divisions strive to bring reported crimes to a successful conclusion by thorough and diligent investigatory methods. The Detectives assigned to these divisions interact frequently with the Salt Lake City Prosecutors and the District Attorney's Office to achieve an ultimate goal of conviction in court.
