Meet Women in Law Enforcement at Utah Women's Show

Learn more about a career in law enforcement

SALT LAKE CITY – Women from a dozen law enforcement agencies will participate in the Utah Women’s Show this weekend, Friday and Saturday, November 6 and 7, 2009.

Women interested in a career in law enforcement are invited to ask questions about job opportunities and learn what it takes to be a sworn or civilian member of the profession.

WHO: Female police officers from West Valley, Taylorsville, Salt Lake County, Department of Corrections/Adult Probation and Parole, Midvale, Draper, South Salt Lake, Murray, Cottonwood Heights, West Jordan, Utah Highway Patrol, Weber County Sheriff’s Office and Salt Lake City will spend both days at the Utah Women’s Show at the South Towne Expo Center. Crime Lab Techs, Victim Advocates, Dispatchers and Administrative Assistants from these departments will also be attending.
