Watch Command Log

The Watch Command Log is a daily summary of events of significance compiled by Watch Commanders. There are three watches in a 24-hour period: days, afternoons and graveyards. Items contained in the Watch Command Log are based on information available at the time of its release and should not be interpreted as an admission or finding of guilt. Arrest information may differ from formal charges, which are filed at the discretion of the prosecuting agency.

AFTERNOON SHIFT
1441 Domestic Violence 411 N. Morton Dr. 09-196435

Ernesto Perez (10/10/91) and his girlfriend got into an argument. Family members of the girlfriend heard of the argument and came over to the house to confront Perez. As they arrived, the argument escalated. Perez went into the house, retrieved a gun, went back outside and fired it multiple times. Three children were in a car in the driveway watching as he did so. Perez had left the house by the time police began to arrive, but after contacting him by phone, he returned and gave himself up. No one was injured during the incident.
