Watch Command Log

The Watch Command Log is a daily summary of events of significance compiled by Watch Commanders. There are three watches in a 24-hour period: days, afternoons and graveyards. Items contained in the Watch Command Log are based on information available at the time of its release and should not be interpreted as an admission or finding of guilt. Arrest information may differ from formal charges, which are filed at the discretion of the prosecuting agency.
DAY SHIFT

A female with dark hair, 5’3” tall, wearing a gray sweater, with a brown scarf over her face, entered the business and displayed a black handgun and demanded all the money from the victim employee. The suspect left in a maroon Nissan or Toyota vehicle. A few blocks away an officer observed a maroon Toyota southbound on 900 W. The Toyota pulled into an alley and a female and male ran on foot. An officer stopped female A/P Lourdes D. Herrera (8-15-67) at about 344 S. 900 W. A possible second male suspect was stopped by another officer. He was photographed and released at the scene pending further follow-up.
AFTERNOON SHIFT

Fusion Bike officers observed a narcotics transaction between the APs Saul Quiroz (10-22-82), Herberto Mendoza (2-9-88), Andrew McNichol (8-26-86), and Jacob Shepherd (2-8-85). All four were stopped and arrested. Found on the APs were over 100 balloons of cocaine and heroin and a large amount of cash. All were booked on Possession with intent to distribute except for Shepherd who was booked on possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
GRAVEYARD SHIFT

Detectives had information that wanted person Damion Fraga (1-11-79) was at this address. Fraga had 3 outstanding warrants totaling over $15,000, 2 of the warrants are felonies; one for possession of drugs and another for stealing a person’s identity. Fraga was located at this address, and a search incident to arrest resulted in the discovery of over 9 grams of Methamphetamine, 5 grams of marijuana, a shotgun and drug paraphernalia. A female, Shamila Chand (11-4-73) was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and stolen property out of another jurisdiction. Damian Fraga was booked on possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a restricted person, possession of drug paraphernalia and for the three warrants. Chand was booked on possession of marijuana and possession of stolen property.
