Residents reported a chemical odor they believed was a Meth Lab on the fourth floor of the apartment complex. Responding officers confirmed the chemical smell and requested a HazMat response from the Fire Department. HazMat personnel detected alarmingly high levels of chemicals in the air and evacuated the building. The Narcotics squad responded and established that the high chemical readings were caused by insect foggers and other chemicals being used by an apartment resident as pesticides.
