Watch Command Log

The Watch Command Log is a daily summary of events of significance compiled by Watch Commanders. There are three watches in a 24-hour period: days, afternoons and graveyards. Items contained in the Watch Command Log are based on information available at the time of its release and should not be interpreted as an admission or finding of guilt. Arrest information may differ from formal charges, which are filed at the discretion of the prosecuting agency.

Derek James Loomer (5-3-89) attempted to pass a forged check to the U.S Bank at this location. Loomer was taken into custody and charged with Theft by Deception, Forgery, and warrants for related offenses.
AFTERNOON SHIFT

Security at the IRS building found a black bag resting against a support pillar of the building and near a gas meter. Bomb detectives responded, deployed the bomb robot, and rendered the bag safe. It was subsequently examined and found to contain clothing and other personal items.

Vi Siosi (4-22-80) kicked down the door of a room at the Scenic Motel, entered and assaulted a female adult victim. He fled on foot before officers arrived. Officers and a K-9 unit tracked him to 2367 E. Sheridan Dr. where he was taken into custody without incident. He was booked for Burglary, assault and warrants. The victim was uninjured.
