The Watch Command Log is a daily summary of events of significance compiled by Watch Commanders. There are three watches in a 24-hour period: days, afternoons and graveyards. Items contained in the Watch Command Log are based on information available at the time of its release and should not be interpreted as an admission or finding of guilt. Arrest information may differ from formal charges, which are filed at the discretion of the prosecuting agency.

A joint investigation/search warrant lead to the seizure of over a pound of methamphetamine, a large amount of cash, and the arrest of Jose Magana, 19, booked on federal drug charges.
| 1600 | Stolen Statue Recovery | 627 E. Connie, Midvale | 10-44289 |
A search warrant was served in connection with the stolen St. Ambrose statue, located in the garage at this address. Chris Steven Hayward (02/5/79) was book on warrants and charges, the statue returned to the church.

The 24-year old female victim was running up to the train station to catch the northbound train, went underneath the warning arms, and was hit by the approaching train. She was transported in serious condition with a broken rib and punctured lung.

The suspect walked into the Lunatic Fringe Salon and demanded money. After receiving the cash he fled to the west side of the store, got into a gray truck, possibly a Toyota, with a large dent on the driver door. He is described as a white male, 5’11”, 175 lbs. 25-30 years old, wearing a dark blue shirt and brown pants.
