Council District 6

Happy New Year District 6 residents.

I am back as your District 6 Community Intelligence Officer and really excited to work with the newly elected city officials.

Beginning in January 2012, I will be reporting District 6 statistics using the Police Department’s new tool www.crimereports.com.  One of the benefits to this program is District 6 residents can access it online and use date ranges and crime classifications to view local reporting.  I will be able to compare current stats to the prior months or to the same time period of the previous year.  In fact, the software can show crime “hot spots” by date and time.  I am looking forward to learning more about the capabilities of this software and sharing it with District 6 residents.
