A 38-year male was creating a disturbance on the west side of the Public Safety Building. He was yelling, cursing, threatening, and yelling obscenities at everyone who passed by. When police arrived he continued the behavior, threatening to kill them and taking a fighting stance. He was tazed and taken to jail for public intoxication and disturbing the peace.
819 W. North Temple
Officers responded on an unwanted guest at the Gateway Inn. They found an intoxicated male who became combative with officers. Daniel Conover (12/20/61) was tazed and booked on several charges including assaulting someone else at the hotel prior to police arrival.
1100 E. Westminster
A witness called police to report two persons spray-painting street signs. When officers arrived two men ran from them. K-9 units were deployed. Tracker/sniffer dogs picked up the scent and found both suspects nearby. Parker Richman (6/10/92) was booked into jail for criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools, and fleeing. Deyshawn Chapman (5/18/91) was booked into jail for criminal mischief and fleeing.
