Shots Fired
1835 W. Independence Blvd

Multiple callers reported shots fired in the area of 1835 W. Independence Blvd. Officers responded and found bullet casings in the street, and a bullet hole in the door of 1894 Independence Blvd. No injuries were reported.

#31 E. Girard Ave.

An unknown person called 911 from an inactive cell phone and reported a man down and bleeding. Officers responded and found the victim down but conscious with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died. Officers discovered a blood trail leading to the listed house. A 17-year-old male was found inside and detectives are speaking with him.

Detectives are looking for two females who were at the scene of the stabbing. They are believed to be witnesses who will have information regarding the case. Known as Marissa, the first is believed to be 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 110 pounds, with blond, shoulder-length hair. The second is known as Juliette and believed to be 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair that is below the shoulders in length. They were last seen driving a blue car.
