1159 Bank Robbery 778 S. Main St. (Wells Fargo) 12-133511
The suspect entered the bank, jumped over the counter, and demanded money. He was holding a black handgun. After receiving cash he exited the bank, possibly leaving the area in a gold-colored car. No one was injured. Investigators pieced together quite accurate witness accounts from bank customers and employees and a short time later arrested Henry Wilches (12/25/70) for aggravated robbery.
2043 Domestic/Taser deployment 2920 S Highland Drive 12-133857
After assaulting his wife a male suspect tried to leave as officers arrived. When confronted he charged at officers and was tazed. Scott Ramjoue (1/19/66) was booked for domestic battery and other charges.
0013 Fight/Arrests 654 N. 800 W. 12-133979
Officers responded to a call of a fight in the street. An intoxicated male ignored repeated commands and fought with officers. As one officer was trying to gain control of him a female began to strike the officer. Another officer was able to gain control of her and place her in custody. Pepper spray was deployed on the male. Richard Romero (3/9/90) was booked on several charges including public intoxication and assault. His sister Christina Ruiz (4/13/76) was booked for interfering and assault on a police officer.
