February 1, 2013 — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate a suspect in the burglary of Gandolfo’s Restaurant at 719 E. 2100 S. last month.

At approximately 7 a.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013, the suspect broke into the restaurant and removed two cash registers from the building. Detectives later found the empty registers discarded in a dumpster at Supersonic Car Wash, 1269 E. 2100 S.

Detectives believe the suspect may be responsible for other burglaries in the Sugar House area.

Description of suspect:

  • white male adult
  • 30s, clean shaven
  • balding in some surveillance images
  • wearing a beanie in others

Description of suspect’s vehicle:

  • 4-door
  • 2000
  • Red
  • Ford Taurus
  • Utah centennial plates
