9:20 a.m.
1465 S. State Street

Two male suspects entered the store, brandished a weapon and demanded money from two store employees. The suspects left the store in an unknown direction. Suspect #1 was described as a male, Hispanic, early 30’s, 5’8″, medium build, brown eyes, black mustache. Suspect #2 was described as a male, Hispanic, early 30’s, 5’9″, medium build, brown eyes, black short hair, wearing black beanie hat.

Stabbing Victim Identified
210 S. Rio Grande St.

The deceased victim of the stabbing has been identified as Willie D. Hollingsworth 3/30/64. There are no further updates on the case.

9:04 p.m.
1422 S. Redwood Rd.

A male black adult entered the store, approached an employee brandished a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then left the store in an unknown direction. The suspect was in his late twenties, with a beard and mustache approximately six feet tall with a slim build wearing all black.

2:03 a.m.
340 E. 400 S.

An officer was flagged over by two females who had a male (23 yrs) inside of their vehicle that had been shot. Officers observed multiple bullet holes in the vehicle and discovered that the male had been shot but was coherent. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. Celina Garcia (8/6/95) was booked into jail for obstruction of justice. Investigators are continuing the investigation.
