Stolen Vehicle-T/A-Foot Pursuit

Officers received a report that a shuttle van had been stolen from a local hotel. An officer located the vehicle being driven on the roadway and stopped at an intersection. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused and pulled away, nearly striking an officer who was at the passenger side of the vehicle. The driver then drove the wrong way on a one-way street, and then struck another vehicle. The driver got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers were able to stop the suspect and take him into custody. Adrian Begay (12/22/86) was booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, DUI, aggravated assault, fleeing, false information, and numerous traffic violations.

Warrant Arrest

Officers responded to the above location looking for a wanted person. They observed the suspect’s vehicle in the parking lot with a man inside. As the officers approached the vehicle, the man threw something on the floor and jumped out of the vehicle. The officers stopped the suspect and discovered a gun on the floor of the vehicle. Officers booked Oscar Alcantara (9/23/91) into jail for possession of a weapon by a restricted person and possession of a controlled substance. They booked the wanted person, Edelche Reed (10/5/83), for warrants, as well as possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
