SALT LAKE CITY— The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking a male adult suspect in a recent rape case.

 

In early April 2014, a male committed a forcible rape on a female juvenile. The victim stated she met a black male adult in the area of the shelter who brought her to the southeast corner of Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City and forced her to have sex with him.

 

The victim described the suspect as a black male of light complexion, wearing white pants, a dark jacket with a red or maroon shirt underneath it, and a beanie. Surveillance video (above) of the suspect was obtained from the Greyhound Bus Terminal, 600 W. 300 S., which the victim and suspect both visited the day of the assault.
