Robbery
900 S. Jefferson St.

A 37-year-old female was on foot in the area of 900 S. Jefferson. A man approached and grabbed her purse. As they struggled the female victim was pushed to the ground. The suspect fled with the woman’s property. He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a blue hoodie pulled up over the face, and black and white running shoes. The victim was slightly injured.

Burglary/Assault on Officer/Resisting
1138 E. Sherman Ave.

A drunken man entered the home of someone unknown to him, began arguing with occupants and punched one of them. Police arrived and dealt with the man, who was combative, resisted arrest and injured an officer. Several involved persons received minor injuries. Matthew Hartung (6/10/94) was booked for burglary, trespass of a dwelling, assault, assault on an officer, resisting, and public intoxication.
