1:33 a.m.
600 W. 2100 S.

The victim said he picked up a girl that he thought he knew in the area of 1500 S. State. She wanted to go to a 7-Eleven but, when they arrived, the girl refused to exit the car. The victim decided to drive around with the girl in the car. The girl asked for money but the victim refused. At 600 W. 2100 S., the girl slashed the victims hand with a knife and took his car keys. She was last seen running eastbound on 2100 South. The suspect is described as a white female adult, 30 years of age, wearing a pink shirt and black pants.

Aggravated Assault
200 S. Rio Grande St.

Officers received several assault calls in the area of the shelter. As a patrol sergeant responded to the area, he was approached by a man in an aggressive manner. After taking Kout Ayat (1/1/85) into custody, the sergeant’s investigation found Ayat had just been involved in an aggravated assault where he had used a knife to cut a woman on the neck. The wound to the victim was minor and did not require medical attention at a hospital.
