Officers served a search warrant at this address. As a result of the search narcotics were found in the home. Irene Frances Valdez (07/04/79) was booked into jail on possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamines, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, weapons violation by a restricted person, possession of stolen property, and several warrants.

Stabbing
800 W North Temple

A 25-year-old male victim reported that while he was stopped at the light on his bike a male acquaintance approached him and an argument ensued. The male suspect stabbed the victim in the chest with a screwdriver and was last seen running west bound on North Temple. The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition with a superficial puncture wound to his chest. The suspect was described as white male, 200 pounds, with a round face, round glasses, and was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, with a large silver chain necklace, possibly named “Augie”.

Vandalism/Foot Pursuit

Officers responded to vandalism in progress call. As officers arrived two male suspects fled on foot. The area was contained and a K9 officer located one of the male suspects in the area. Olanipekun Yungai (01/07/95) was arrested and booked into jail for vandalism, obstruction of justice, criminal trespass, and warrants. The second suspect is still outstanding.
