11:29 p.m.
Aggravated Assault
542 S. 500 E.

The victim and suspect, Yvette Davis, 8-7-70, were drinking at the victim’s apartment and began to argue. The argument turned physical and Davis slashed the victim’s throat with a piece of glass. Davis left and the victim called police. Officers were in the area and took Davis into custody as she was leaving the apartment. Victim was transported by medical with non-life threatening injuries. Davis was booked into jail for Aggravated Assault.

Hit & Run-DUI-Foot pursuit
190 S. 1200 E.

A citizen called in to report a possible traffic accident at 190 S. 1200 E. Upon arriving Officers located a vehicle that hit a wall and a female and male ran from the scene. Officers caught the female and a citizen reported that someone was hiding in his backyard. Officers located a male pretending to sleep behind multiple bushes. The man identified himself as Nate Quirk 12/27/94.  Witnesses stated that Nate was intoxicated and left a party in the area. They heard a loud noise and saw Nate’s car where it hit the wall and Nate in the vehicle. Nate was not injured in the crash. Nate smelled strongly of alcohol and appeared intoxicated. Nate was arrested for DUI and Hit and Run.
